I am a Master of Economics student at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from San Diego State University. I started this blog to define key terms used in statistics.
This is a work in progress, began July 21, 2010. I add more as I can.
Explaining statistics is a challenge that I enjoy. Many sources are written in complex terms that assume math knowledge. I am developing a style that is user-friendly for those who are unfamiliar with math.
A teacher once told me that statistics is actually a philosophy, not a math. I agree. Statistics uses math logic to explain about what things are, or, might be.
I hope you will find my definitions easy to understand.
